Rental Assistance Programs
We cannot reach everyone, but our goal is to help one household at a time.
The cost of living in Toronto’s Jewish community is high. Many families and individuals are forced to pay between 50-70 percent of their limited incomes on housing, often at the expense of other basic essentials such as food.
The current poverty rate in the Jewish community is 14 percent, which translates to over 25,000 Jewish people living in poverty - including children, seniors, and Holocaust survivors.
